| Our objectives and goals for education |

| In 2004, the University of Kaohsiung founded the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering to cultivate IT professionals for the IT industry, especially in Southern Taiwan.
We focus on Intelligent Computation and Control hoping to establish an Intelligent Computation center to nurture experts and develop academic research. Our aim for education is fostering high quality IT experts with professional trainings in theory and practice, as well as having independent thinking and analysis skills,in addition to humanity awareness and the ability to work in a team.
Our curriculum has been designed to train our graduated students in the following core skills: |
