Yen's research interests include 3D reconstruction, computer vision, image processing, and augmented reality. In particular, Yen is interested in using various reconstruction approaches to perform 3D reconstructions of objects, or on a larger scale, the 360 degrees 3D reconstructions for various sites of interest. Furthermore, Yen is extending her research towards the applications of 3D data, including visualization, compression, and recognition of 3D data.
